Viewpoints on the colonization of Africa
Many people have different opinions and viewpoints on colonization. Here are colonization from the view of Europeans and from the view of Africans.
The European Viewpoint
Most people over look the European view point due to the racist and invasive behaviors shown when the whole shazam was going down. If you ask me the European point of view is pretty interesting on its own. First they knew Africa, not as well as they should have but enough to know what they could get from Africa, such as the resources and the people there, here's where the racism thing should be mentioned. Europe at the time strongly believed anyone not Caucasian was uncivilized and needed to be taught the European lifestyle. It's racist but for the sake of understanding their point of view, try to picture what it would be like if you really believed this that you needed to teach people from Africa how to be Civilized. So blinded by greed and the "burden" of having to be the one teaching Africans the "proper" culture and language and lifestyle.

The African Viewpoint
Most people pay attention to the African viewpoint now because of the attention activists have drawn to cultures besides Caucasian culture.
